About The Grand Rapids Times

A Brief Overview

Founded in 1957, the Grand Rapids Times is the oldest existing weekly publication targeted to Black communities with Grand Rapids as the primary market and with distribution in Battle Creek, Kalamazoo & Muskegon. It is read by teens and adults from a variety of social, economic, and educational backgrounds.
