Thursday, September 28, 2023, The Michigan SBDC Pitch Black Grand Rapids Is A Pitch Competition Aimed Toward Uplifting Black-Owned Businesses In Grand Rapids, Michigan at the GVSU Building downtown.

This Event was Free To Attend, but Registration Is Encouraged Due To Venue Space Limitations. Walk-In attendees were welcomed to attend. This Program Is Part Of Our Uplift Michigan™ Initiative.

Winners:

Maneeka Beasley – Cakes By The Jar, won the top prize of $5000

Bertina Polk – My Little Love Bugs Childcare, won $3,500

Jessica Ann Tyson – Beastro, Fresh Canine Cuisine, won $1,500

Valerie James – Vsj Fitness, won $500
