Selfie Museum Announces Grand Opening
Sharmese Blackmon, her mother Tonya Sonnie, her mother's fiancé and her business partner Sheena Austin all came together and decided to open a selfie museum.
"It is like an event space where you can pay by person and we have ten different rooms set up and you can come and take selfie pictures in the different scenes," said Blackmon.
The name of the business is Sapphire Experience and is located on Plainfield at 211 Censor.
"My business partner and I own a day care center and we were just interested in investing in something else and I discovered that selfie museums are really becoming popular in some states. I came across a video that featured a selfie museum and I sent it to my business partner and asked what she thought about us doing a selfie museum.." she continued.
"We were also in the process of looking for another building to open up a day care center and we came across a building that had separate rooms that were way too small for a daycare and that is when we came up with the idea to do a selfie museum."
The museum will be having a Grand Opening on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at 12 p.m. Please come out and support the grand opening of the Selfie Museum.
