Search Is On for PROACTIVE Volunteers
In the midst of COVID-19, the local PROACTIVE Election Protection Coalition, is operating a Virtual Phone Bank for the 2020 Census. Volunteers are making calls from home.
Kathi Harris, Coordinator, is appealing for more volunteers. "Thank you to those that have already started working their phone bank list. I appreciate your taking your time to volunteer and help us with this project."
Most of us are staying home and staying safe," said Kathi Harris. "We need your help with this project."
She continued, "Others that want to help us with this endeavor, may please call me. I will get the information that you need to get started."
She added, "We are trying to remind the community to complete this important information as soon as possible. We know that everyone is under a lot of stress with all that is going on. We do not want them to not take care of their census questionnaire right away because it only takes a few minutes and that is one thing off of their plate.
