Thanksgiving Dinner A Feast At Ellnora's Kitchen And Urban Family Ministries
Turkey or Ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, green beans and a dinner roll — plus, a cookie for the children. This is the Thanksgiving dinner that was prepared for more than 900 community residents and served by Ellnora's Kitchen and Urban Family Ministries.
This is the 9th year that Elijah Libbett, owner of Ellnora's Kitchen, has been able serve this meal to the community.
It did not matter whether those who came lived around the corner, down the street or in the suburbs; the meal was "free" to all who showed up to be served, Monday, November 20. All were indeed welcomed!
This was only one of the ways this collaboration gives back to the community.
Within a few weeks, the collaboration will serve a Christmas feast. Santa Claus will be present to talk with the kids and give them gifts.
This is all about thanks and giving!
